Bala is an upcoming 2019 Indian satirical black comedy film directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam, and Bhumi Pednekar, with Javed Jaffrey, Saurabh Shukla, and Seema Pahwa playing supporting roles. Principal photography began on 6 May 2019 and ended on 7 July 2019.The story of the film set in Kanpur, follows a man suffering from alopecia (played by Khurrana) and the lack of confidence and societal pressure that comes with balding. It is scheduled to be released on 7 November 2019.
Bala is set to hit the theatres on November 7.
